Common questions and to do's before your procedure
Nano Brows is a newer and more advanced permanent makeup technique for eyebrows. Like Microblading, it offers the most natural hair stroke look. This technique is performed with a single mechanized needle inserted into one of the quietest machines on the market that provides a calm experience for clients. Our high-quality vegan pigment is planted into the skin to create curved lines that mimic the look of hair.
Combo brows are essentially a combination of hair strokes and the powdered technique. Typically, hair strokes are placed in the front of the brows and along the middle top border of the brow then the hair strokes blend in with the powdered technique. The powered techniqe portion is concentrated on the tail fading into the arch and body of the brows and also blends in between the hairstrokes creating a flawless transition.
The best candidate for this technique are those who have oilier skin, those who lack hair in the arch or tail area of the brow, or those who desire the look of both hair strokes and the powdered look. This technique also works for clients who have no hair, which would provide a more natural look.
A 6 week perfecting touch-up session is mandatory following your initial session. This is becasue it is important for your artist to study your healed results and to ensure any imperfections are perfected for the final result. Once your perfecting touch-up is complete, this technique can last about 2-3 years, depending on skin type, sun exposure, skin products, or iron deficiency. Thereafter, touch-ups are recommended every 1-3 years.
This permanent makeup technique mimics the appearance of powdered eyebrow make-up, giving a more “make-up” look. The technique is performed using tiny mechanized needles that deposits our high-quality vegan pigments into the first layer of the skin creating a pixelated look which builds layers of color that will give the “powdered” look. Essentially, the tails of the brows are darker and fade to a softer color toward the front of the brows, providing a subtle and soft powdered look.
The best candidates for this procedure are those who have oilier skin, dark course eyebrow hair, or those who desire a more filled in look. This technique also works for clients who have no hair, which would provide a more powdered make-up look.

The lash line enhancement permanent makeup technique is a thin line that is tattooed at the root just above your lashes which gives the illusion of a thicker, darker, and fuller lash line. The eyeliner technique is essentially tattooed the same way just creating a medium thickness or thick line to create a bolder look in which is still applied by a steady line along the lash line. Using a tiny mechanized needle, our high-quality vegan pigment is applied in a steady line along the lash line. This effect will create the illusion of a thicker, darker, and completely full lashes without looking like obvious makeup.
This permanent makeup technique can be added to the top or lower lash line, or both and adds an instant definition to the eyes. Either way, both can add an instant noticeable definition to the eyes. If a bolder look is preferred, you can choose between a medium thickness or thick liner which is applied by a steady line along the lash line. Both lash line enhancement and permanent eyeliner can be applied to both your upper and lower eyelids.

Lip Blush is a permanent makeup technique that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improves the shape of the lips, evens out lip color tone, helps with asymmetry, and offers the illusion of fullness. This permanent makeup technique delivers the most natural results of a lip tattoo and is performed using tiny mechanized needles that deposit our high-quality vegan pigments into the lips, building layers of color.

The first modern application of permanent cosmetics was by Sutherland MacDonald, in 1902 at his tattoo parlor in London. Mr. MacDonald became well known for tattooing an all around delicate pink complexion on the cheeks, and he was followed by George Burchett in the 1930’s as a major developer of this technique.
However, Micropigmentation or Permanent Makeup, has actually been in use for thousands of years, with archaeological evidence showing tattoos on bodies as old as 3300 B.C. Egyptian and Nubian mummies are tattooed, as were the Incas, Mayans, Aztecs, and Greeks. The tradition persists today- using tattooing to create beauty, prestige, and set oneself apart from the pack.
An ageless and gender friendly technique updated for today, permanent cosmetics can save you time and make you feel confident. Contact L.A. Beauty PMU today for a complimentary consultation or to schedule an appointment.
