She wanted uber natural, and preferred the look of hair strokes. She was tired of filling them in every day and wanted to improve her shape.

I always tell clients that permanent makeup might not necessarily replace eyebrow makeup. For some clients, it’s enough and they never fill in their brows. For others, they still wear a bit of brow makeup to add a depth, texture and boldness.

She’ll come back in about 6 weeks for her perfecting touch-up then she’ll be good to go for 1.5-3 years before a color-boost touch-up might be needed!

Oh August, you always feel like my final farewell to my favorite season, summer. There were soooo many more photos I wanted to post…20 just wasn’t enough 🤪

Tattooing the Lashline can be very versatile. We can do a bit thicker creating more of a traditional eyeliner, or do a bit softer as this client wanted.

Her goal was natural results and she’d prefer to draw on thicker eyeliner when desired.

This enhanced her eyes naturally and gives her something to wake up and go while giving her eyes a natural pop! 👁️

🤝 procedure is very tolerable with my tips & tricks to prep ahead of time
🤝 pre-numbing I applied to eyelids
🤝 cannot use lash growth serums minimum of 4 months prior to procedure
🤝 final results after second session which takes place about 6 weeks after initial session
🤝 healing is a breeze but no eye makeup or product for 10 days post procedure
🤝 cannot have visible capillaries in Lashline
🤝 lasts 2-5 years depending on skin, lifestyle, and topical products used

Let’s talk about the importance of a sitting-up frontal view to compare the before and after of eyebrows. 💥

I do favor photos of the client’s face when lying down, as I’m able to get flattering angles, better lighting, and closer shots, but something must be said about showcasing a simple side-by-side view. Even when I don’t post this view, I still always have these photos.

Don’t forget we want the clients’ brows to be even and symmetrical when they’re sitting up facing the world. When lying down, gravity plays a role in creating an illusion of symmetry that could be misleading.

The moral of the story is to always take photos of clients sitting up, facing the camera straight on, even if you don’t post them 🤓.

Nano Airy Powder Brows 2.5 years in the making 🤩

Clients typically come back about 1.5-2 years after their first two initial sessions for their color-boost touch-ups. BUT the ideal timing is when the color is about 40% lighter. We WANT the color to gradually fade out of the skin overtime. The prevent any unwanted colors down the road.

Touch up timing is IMPERATIVE. This is why I have every client send me photos ahead of time to ensure their brows are ready because “40% lighters” is subjective 😉

She was able to stretch it 2.5 years! I never charge full price again for returning clients.

I aim for a more masculine approach to shape and technique, depending on the clients needs and what their skin will allow for.
