This client has recently moved to Reno and previously had her eyebrows done by another artist from out of state a few years back. She couldn’t made the trip back to get her brows touched up, so here she is in my hands! A big shoutout to her former artist for their excellent work on color and symmetry—her brows have faded beautifully and are were primed for an upgrade to NANO 🔥

Nano Hybrid Brows HEALED LONG-TERM results and what realistic expectations look like 🤝

For the artists, these were done with mineral pigments on a natural red head client with porous thick skin, course eyebrow hair, and covering old faded microblading. (No filters or editing 🤝)

Initially, we did a hybrid of machine hair strokes with powder. She really wanted hair strokes but after a while was filling in the front of the brows with makeup. Now that I got to see them healed past one year, and she was ready for a color-boost you can-up, we decided to softly powder the fronts.

This is precisely how pigments ought to naturally diminish from the skin over time. Keeping the color mostly intact and avoiding premature touch-ups is essential.

I always ask clients to share a selfie, which helps us assess if they’re in need of a color-boost touch-up. Every individual is unique, so I evaluate each situation individually, and this process does not impact the pricing for my clients.

The key takeaway I want to emphasize is that permanent makeup should complement, not substitute, traditional makeup. Each client’s experience will vary, and I prefer that clients enhance their brows with makeup as needed rather than relying on excessive touch-ups that may lead to overly dark and saturated brows over time. While permanent makeup settles flat within the skin, conventional makeup remains on the surface, providing added depth, texture, and different light reflections.

I only highlighted her lip blush but we did full face permanent makeup! 👏

Brows, eyeliner and lips!

Brows are one day post procedure so they’re bold and warm in color.

Eyeliner and Lips were done the day after her brows which is shown in this video!

She was quite nervous of the lips and eyeliner hurting but she was pleasantly surprised 😏

Please note she developed a slight bruise on her lips during the tattooing procedure - this is common for some clients. By the time she left my studio the bruising subsided. Bruising does not affect color or healed results.

Ps. NO KISSING within 24 hours of getting your lips tattooed 😂🫣🚫

All permanent makeup looks vibrant and hold within one week of getting it done. All areas will look much softer and more natural once healed.

This client has developed substantial scar tissue around her eyebrows due to a burn, resulting in the loss of most of her eyebrow hair. I can’t move forward in my business without acknowledging the core of who I am…my faith, which is deeply woven into my work. Just two weeks ago, I expressed my desire to reflect the love of Jesus more in my business, and now here I am.

Charlie Kirk’s passing has reminded me of the importance of standing firm in faith and truth. As my husband and I raise our three boys, teaching them honesty and the courage to uphold their faith in today’s culture is vital (Proverbs 6:16-19).

I’ve hesitated to share these personal beliefs, but my business is a reflection of who I am. I always aim to create a welcoming environment for my clients while keeping conversations natural and organic.

Thirteen years ago, the Holy Spirit transformed my life, and God has guided my career ever since. I’d rather be true to my beliefs than seek popularity through compromise. Authenticity matters, both online and in person.

She wanted uber natural, and preferred the look of hair strokes. She was tired of filling them in every day and wanted to improve her shape.

I always tell clients that permanent makeup might not necessarily replace eyebrow makeup. For some clients, it’s enough and they never fill in their brows. For others, they still wear a bit of brow makeup to add a depth, texture and boldness.

She’ll come back in about 6 weeks for her perfecting touch-up then she’ll be good to go for 1.5-3 years before a color-boost touch-up might be needed!
