The client requested a subtle look that avoided excessive pink tones and aimed for the top lip color to better align with the natural shade of the bottom lip.

In this journey, you’ll see:
1️⃣ The initial canvas – before the magic begins.
2️⃣ Freshly done – the excitement of your new look!
3️⃣ The healed perfection – a natural flush that lasts
4️⃣ The lips fresh after the perfecting touch up

Lip tattoo typically lasts 3-5 years! Appointment time is about 3 hours. Very comfortable. After initial session, clients come back about 10-12 weeks later for a perfecting-touch up session to finalize the result!

This lovely client came in with old microblading that was too dark, wrong shape and uneven. In this particular case we thoroughly discussed all options and potential results. We agreed and proceeded! This video shows her final results after covering her old microblading with a soft and airy powder brow technique.

Then, she decided she wanted to enhance her eyes with a Lashline enhancement! I tattooed within her Lashline to give the ultimate enhancement to her already beautiful eye shape making the Lashline appear thicker and making the eyes pop just a bit more but in a soft and subtle way. These are the final results after one session!

We were both so happy with the final outcome of these two procedures 😍🤝

This is my technique that is borderless so no harsh outline and a layered pixelated effect that will heal soft, airy and not too saturated. This client we had to cover old faded microblading.

Every technique I do is completely custom to each individual clients features, existing brow structure and desired results within reason and what is possible. 👌

Artists, what’s the one task in your creative process that you secretly dread? Let’s commiserate in the comments 😂….

As much as I despise sharpening my pencils, they are a very important aspect of my pre-draw process.

Here’s a few tips for artists who still may be struggling on how and which pencils to use:

1. I NEVER use the wax pencil on or over broken skin. I do sharpen without a glove on one hand because I#as I’m sharpening I often stop and test how thin of a line I can draw on the palm of my hand. Once I’m finished, I clean the pencil tip with an alcohol wipe and put the pencil lid back on and stored away.

2. A precise sharpness will get you the cleanest lines for pre drawing the outline or hair strokes. If your pencil is too thick then your lines will be too thick which could alter the symmetry of your shape.

3. Be patient with sharpening and move in tiny short movement until you get it nice and fine. Sometimes you may have to sharpen again while pre drawing on your client. It’s ok to stop and do that carefully. Keep hand sanitizer nearby.

4. Always sharpen and clean the pencil in between clients and a reminder to NEVER use on broken skin.

5. Don’t be afraid to try different brands or colors like white or red! Have many different on hand. Some are waxier, some are smoother and both work better for different skin types.

I can’t believe it’s already been a week since

I can’t believe it’s already been a week since my trip to L.A.!! For those unfamiliar with me I’m Stacey, the proud owner and artist behind L.A. Beauty PMU! 🤗

This year marks a significant milestone for me as I celebrate a decade in the beauty industry, a journey that started in Las Vegas. The majority of my career has unfolded in the vibrant Los Angeles area, though I made my way back to Reno just over two years ago. I continue to serve clients in both Reno and L.A. every 4-6 months, and it’s always such a delight!

A huge thank you to @microbladingla hosting me and my clients! It’s where I launched my career back in 2016, and it was fun to reconnect with many of my long-time clients for touch-ups, some of whom I haven’t seen since my days at MLA. I even managed to squeeze in a “work dinner” with @tatev_ink, @microbladingla_ngoc, and @microbladingla 🥂

Welcoming an another new client to Reno! She rec

Welcoming an another new client to Reno!

She recently moved here from out of state and reached out for a brow touch-up…however, her pigments was still visible enough so I advised she wait at least another 6 months to let the color fade more.

Her previous artist did a great job with shape and color but it needs to be about 40% lighter before doing a color-boost touch with permanent makeup to prevent the brows from getting too dark and saturated over time.

So the temporary solution? A brow lam and tint!

She had some hair so laminating them fluffed up her brows a bit and tinting them gave her the color boost she wanted. Lamination lasts about 6-10 weeks and tint lasts about 7-10 on skin and up to 3 weeks on hair.

This option is perfect for those with some hair and shape, and right before an event or vacation 🙌

**I can typically get in clients for brow shaping, lamination and tinting much sooner than what is shown on my online booking system because permanent makeup procedures take the bulk of my schedule so I can add a non-permanent makeup appointment at the end of my day which takes much less time 😅
